Underground, Overground?

During a long and lovely chat with [livejournal.com profile] oh_pooh last night, I arrived at a conclusion.

In a disused corner of Manchester's Victorian sewerage system, not a long way from the city's Gay Village, exists a clan of Wombles. They are keen on all the traditional Womble virtues - cleanliness, friendship, tidying up the things that the everyday folk leave behind. But, mostly due to this last principle, they also teach about safe sex, sensible drug use and the disposal of used sharps.

However, I'm uncertain what some of them are called. I know of one - a leather pervert, recently thrown out of her warren in Glasgow, who has taken the name Berlin. Any other ideas?

I seem to recall the long and interesting chat happening over food. I'm still poondering about the post-food experiences, actually to be accurate, one in particular :)

Mancunian Wombles, eh?

Amsterdam? I thinmk you should be able to work out why.
