Slightly irritated
In Babylon 5, there is a memorable episode where an alien race suddenly and arbitrarily divides itself in half - one Green, one Purple - and begins a civil war on nothing more than an old tradition and a few scraps of coloured silk. Susan Ivanova manages to break this particular knot up in a wonderfully Alexandrine way, but that's not the point.
There are times when I will quite happily stick a metaphorical sash on and go into battle for a side. There are times when I won't. But at the very least, I feel I deserve the right to choose what I'm going to do, and which team I'm going to cheer for. When other people make possibly unwarranted assumptions, I cease being a Happy Pixie. And I don't like that at all.

She took me off her f-list too. I was quite hurt after having take great pains to stay out of things. I think she's pretty screwed up right now. I made a post in my LJ (having found myself unable to leave a comment in hers) in the hope that she'll see it and re-think. But who knows.
