Thirty point Six, recurring
It's a commonly held belief that bad things always come in threes. It wasn't unexpected news, but the third piece of significant Bad News hit this morning - although it's nowhere near as bad as it could have been.
I've now been officially diagnosed with arthritis in both knees and my left ankle. At this point they can't tell me which type, or the severity. Blood tests and general poking about to follow.
That said, good things come in threes as well (he said, grinning smugly if a little enigmatically 8).
