Further drama, I'm afraid.
My aunt Maureen's has, this morning, been driven into A&E in Portsmouth with a nasty case of rectal bleeding. It doesn't sound very serious, but since her mum died of bowel cancer, I'm a little concerned. Any good thoughts you might have would be gratefully received.

Rectal bleeding can be caused by constipation or by piles, too (my neighbour was hospitalised with it earlier this year), so it's not necessarily a serious thing.
Hope it gets sorted out for her as soon as possible.
