Well. Quite a lot, really.

I've moved home, as those of you who read AFP will now know. James Sager and I are now doing the whole Men Behaving Badly thing in Altrincham, which is fun. I was just settling into a nice new job, nice people and environment, when I discovered it was taking me around 2 hours to get to work, and a bit more to get back. This sucked horribly, so I resigned and am now temping, currently for NTL.

I went away with Mary, Kev, James, Darren and Tim to the BA Science Festival in Exeter, which was a great deal of fun. But certain things had been going through my head in the weeks beforehand, and so I came out as bisexual to them all about three days in. I think Kev summed it up the other day when he said "I think the person who was most surprised was you"...he's got a major point.

I finished my last OU coursework piece for the year, and have recently (Wednesday) sat the course exam. This being my first real assessment in approaching 10 years, I was rather bricking it. But I think it went ok.

I'm now sat at home, in front of my PC, with a glass of coke close by. Life is good and will be better, although there are still many things I want to achieve in the next 12 months. We shall see.

Shinydan.
Don't stop thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It may be better than before
Yesterday's gone.

So in terms of attitudes, you're altering 'em in Altrincham (sorry couldn't resist)

So what OU courses are you doing next?

(all this OU-itis around afp-land/LJ-land makes me want to go back and do another degree
erm at least for a couple of minutes ;-) )

Try Don's stop me now .. though poor Freddie came somewhat unstuck

Doing A174 (Start Writing Fiction - grins at CCA) starting in a fortnight.
Then next year it's A210, Approaching Literature...lots of canon authors, quite a bit of leftfield stuff too. Really looking forward to both...

Rejoin the OU! Resistance is futile, and you can never have enough letters after your name.

it's taken a while, but now I am. Accepting that I deserve to stay that way is going to be the tricky bit, but I think I can manage that now. *hugs*
