General Update

Suppose I should really start using this as a proper diary...

SATURDAY

Met up with hippo22 for morning coffee, and chatted about Magic: The Gathering and Bridge. Every time we chat, my reading list gets longer... got to hit the library hard this week. After general hosue-keeping duties, was about to go over to James's to watch the football. And then stopped. As noted elsewhere, couldn't bring myself to support England against Wales. So, clad in a red shirt with three feathers, watched Wales get narrowly beaten (if totally out-classed) with flirtydaz, welshlad and hippo22. Then met up with my lovely man Joe, went out for a bit of dinner in Hale. Very nice evening, all told.

SUNDAY

Bleargh. Poured coffee down my throat in an effort to do anything. Failed fairly dismally. Partially sorted my MtG cards out and had a lot of asthma attacks. Went out for a walk and came straight home again Too damn hot and too damn humid for this little pink rabbit. Got a nice text message from saintmaryuk saying she was safely across the Irish Sea, though. Yay!

Music Players

Can anyone suggest a nice light music player? I've tried iTunes, Winamp and even WMP and they all make the music skip and, eventually, send my laptop running XP into BSOD-land. Am I looking at another download or, heaven forfend, reinstalling Windows?
