Interview non-result

I thought the interview went well, and I was told I would know by today at the latest. The people who could tell me are in work but busy, which is fair enough. But we shut for the holidays in an hour and a half, and I can't work out if they're waiting to tell me at a time when I can go and celebrate, or leaving putting the metaphorical boot in until the last minute.

I hate this sort of thing.
