Very Bad Day
Jul. 16th, 2007 12:27 amI was confident that today would be a trouble-free day. This was right up to the point that a couple of little local scrotes decided to sneak into my back garden and start smashing up our garage windows. I sprinted outside and did my best Phil Mitchell impression - that is, shouting at them a lot, not breaking every bone in their 8-year old bodies. So that wasn't good.
I was rather hoping to be able to talk appreciatively about a lady I've met online, and how the two of us were drifting towards a pleasant little online relationship. This was right up until an hour after the event above, when she abruptly and with no apparent reason decided to break the relationship off. This wasn't good either.
And then, about an hour ago, I remembered to book for BiCon and discovered that I should have registered three days ago, and as a result would have to forget going. Frankly, I was becoming pissed off beyond words by this point. I blasted off an email to the organisers and was about to turn my computer off and go to a frustrated sleep.
But then it ticked past midnight. And an email turned up in my inbox. I am now registered and paid for and I shall go to BiCon in my furry slippers! Many thanks indeed to
taimatsu and
bloodedrose who were simply there for me. You rock.
Bed, I think.
