Butterflies & Hurricanes - 2004

This has, flat out, been the best year of my life. It's not been easy and there have been setbacks, but it's been damn good. If you're reading this, then you were a factor in making it that good. Thank you.
This year, I've had too many different jobs, two homes. I've accepted parts of my identity which I couldn't even look at before. I'm more comfortable with being poly. I've started to be comfortable with being bisexual. I've learnt to start confronting my fears and to take control of my life. I've met lots of wonderful people, the majority of which were "interestingly strange". (You know who you are.)
I've seen several people who I love dearly grow stronger in a variety of ways, and I've learnt that some people don't want to grow and I shouldn't try and make them. I've faced prejudice, not least my own. I stop and smell the flowers occasionally now. I've now run out of things to say, and I am slowly learning to shut the hell up when I do.
