I'm afraid I'm now ABEND (1) for the foreseeable future, having moved out of the nice big flat I shared with James S. into a much smaller, pokier one, with no phone line and no plans for one. These things happen. I'll be using internet cafes when I can, but I'll see you all when i see you..

I missed the footnote on my first read. The thought process went thus:
"ABEND? If he's ABENDed he wouldn't be able to post. So can't be that."
"Hmm, what if it's an obscure UNIX reference? It's got a man-section reference. Nah, that's silly."
