TUESDAY EVENING

Decided to be bad and go out to BiPhoria instead. Got to Manchester City Centre far too early, so sat down in a bar to write game notes and eat something. Dinner resolutely failed to turn up after an hour's wait, however. A brief complaint led to a free meal and beer. Which was nice.

BiPhoria was great! Lots of good discussions about a variety of subjects, and something important came unlocked in my head. Which can't have been much fun for the person who helped me with it...thank you. You know who you are. *HUG*

WEDNESDAY

Went to work. Can't recall too much about it at this remove. I do remember thinking "I'll go and watch the first half of the football, just until England put the game beyond Northern Ireland's reach". Naturally, by the time I left the pub, after England's first defeat in Belfast in seventy-some years, I was rather upset. Ah well. Such is life.

THURSDAY

I have very little recollection of Thursday. Such is life. I'm aware that cricket and tennis happened to other people, but that's about it.

FRIDAY

Work occurred. Went over to [livejournal.com profile] stuflyer's to, as it turned out, chat about music and wait for [livejournal.com profile] flirtydaz and [livejournal.com profile] welshlad to get home from the BA Science Festival in Dublin. Actually did what I went over there to do, as well; to wit, play on the guitar a bit to make sure that I've not forgotten how. It was all nicely relaxing.

SATURDAY

Went out for a coffee with [livejournal.com profile] hippo22 where he blinded me with science. Actually, given that there's nowhere for the square root of -1 to go on the Real numberline, having it in three different places on three other numberlines is no more effort than just having it on one. Went back home and sat down with the adventure I'd written for a group of six. Took about 90 minutes to trim it down to four pepople instead. Then went over and ran the game at James. Fun happened, especially given that my improv GMing skills seem to have improved. A huge sigh of relief was breathed when I heard that [livejournal.com profile] saintmaryuk and [livejournal.com profile] timpootle were safely home. Portsmouth FC getting an away win didn't hurt my mood, either.

SUNDAY

Not going to tell you what I did Sunday. But it was fun. ;)

And that's basically it for now...
