We would like to know who really believes in gay rights on LiveJournal. There is no bribe of a miracle or anything like that. If you truly believe in gay rights, then repost this and title the post as "Gay Rights". If you don't believe in gay rights, then just ignore this. Thanks.

(If, on the other hand, you don't feel comfortable being pressured into making a post because someone's demanding it, that is also fine.)

I can't say in fairness I've seen that many men holding hand. First time I saw it though I was surprised as it was different. Having said that its a free world and I have nothing against gay guys doing what they want, though I'd draw the line at sex in public! But that goes for anyone (:

I must admit that I actually don't like this meme at all...

1. it seems very "with us or against us" (typically merkin in origin I would suggest)

2. I believe in HUMAN rights, not just little enclaves or subsets!

I completely agree with you, which is why I've put that caveat in. However, I do also believe that if one isn't part of the solution, one is part of the problem. I know from your other posts that you're on the side of the angels(1) but I also, personally, wish to stand up and be counted.

Yes, without Dan's addition at the end, it does seem to be saying 'If you don't display this meme in your Livejournal, you're not in favour of gay rights'
