Update: At last, the crash

shinydanFinally, the BiCon/Pride/Maryfest crash has arrived.
In the last two weeks: I've found out an awful lot about my grandfather, and what went on concerning my family in the years between my birth and when we moved to the south coast. BiCon was a long weekend that felt more like a month's intense holiday, where I made some really lovely friends, and saw existing friendships deepen. Pride was a blast which taught me a lot about how bisexuals are treated by "mainstream" queerdom, and MaryFest was an opportunity to celebrate a good friend's birthday, catch up on old friendships, and rock the party like a hurricane. [checks notes] Or something like that.
In addition, I got to see my lovers, at BiCon and Maryfest. You know how I feel about you, and vice versa. Miss you.
But I'm feeling slightly empty. I'm basically ok, but now I've got the time to feel a little bit low about not being in the whirl of the last fortnight, and so I am. Another update will follow tonight, I think.
