oo, let's see.

When was the last time you crossed an international border
...on foot? Never
...in a car? Never (Wales/England _doesn't_ count, although if it did it would be Sept. 2000)
...in a bus? Never
...by train? May 2003, Paris to London
...by boat? umm...summer 2001, Cherbourg to Portsmouth
...by plane? March 2001, Tunis to London Heathrow (and never again. IAGONP, F') (1)

What is the farthest north you have ever been?
Manchester.

What is the farthest south you have ever been?
Hammamet, Tunisia.

Have you ever gone the whole way around the world?
No

If not, what is the farthest east you have ever been?
Pembroke Dock in Wales (see above)

...and the farthest west?
Hammamet again, but it's close between that and western Germany.

Which country would you most like to visit, that you haven't?
The rest of Germany, for a start...Italy and Greece for the architecture, Ireland for the craic. Then the whole of the rest of Europe.
At the moment that's about it, for reasons above.

Which country would you like to live in for the rest of your life?
The UK is fine, but I have a sneaking admiration for Canada. (Again, see above)

Which country would you like to live in for a year?
Rural France.

Which country would you like to visit for a week?
Portugal, early June this year. Ideally with some tickets for England-France...8)

Which country would you like to visit for a day?
Scotland.

Which country do you plan to visit next?
Germany.

And finally, how many countries have you been to?
United Kingdom, France, Spain (once mainland, once Majorca), Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium (although I slept through it all three times)

Hammamet... I've often fancied Tunisia, but would be too tempted to stay on the beach, I reckon. Mind you, that's true of a lot of places...I love a nice sunny beach...

It's nice...but somehow I don't think travelling to a Muslim country's a good idea at the moment.
Besides, Air Tunis are largely responsible for my footnote.

Yes, well, if you're going to pick an airline to totally you put you off flying, Air Tunis are probably your men...
Agree about being wary with travel...I avoided Turkey last year for that reason (but might not this year...it's been four years since I last went and I've only seen a tiny part)
