Withdrawal

Some of you may have seen elsewhere that saintmaryuk and I have split up. It's quite amicable, but nonetheless we are both hurting like hell. I've also, not without a lot of thought, accepted that I'm not currently emotionally stable enough to be in any kind of serious relationship. As a result, I've also broken up with Damien, who I'd been seeing since the new year. Again, things are amicable but painful. I'm hoping to throw myself into my work next week; in addition, at the first opportunity, I'm going to seek therapy to fix what's wrong.

*hugs* As I said in her LJ, it always hurts, no matter what the reason or how amicable it is. Therapy can be very helpful. Take from it what you need and discard what you don't. The best therapist don't talk much.
