Ok, I've got this recipe, and I'd like to know what people think.

INGREDIENTS (SERVES ONE)

1 plain black tee-shirt (extra-large for preference)
1 bottle of domestic bleach
1 roll of industrial masking tape

Cover up most of the front of the tee-shirt with the masking tape, leaving only an area spelling out a short but inoffensive word - "RAGE" or "TRASH" or something similar.

Making sure that the back of the tee-shirt is appropriately protected, pour bleach to excess over the front of the tee-shirt. Wait a sensible length of time.

Remove the masking tape to reveal the word you've bleached into the tee-shirt. Wash tee-shirt to remove last traces of bleach. Wear to social events.

Would this work?

Oh I used to do this when I was in college

Well it wont go white, it'll got a beige colour, which is fine as long as you know.

It's much easier if your do all the above and then paint the bleach onto the stencil, if you just pour it on then there is much more chance of mistakes that you can't fix. And if you want you should water down the bleach and go over it a couple of times instead of once with full strength bleach.

Now I want to do that too!
